Year 6 visit the Houses of Parliament
Year 6 had a fantastic day in London at the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 23rd October 2024.
We started our day with a tour of Parliament and were able to sit in the public gallery to observe a debate about river pollution.
Once we had finished our tour we went back to the education centre and took part in some activities before meeting our local MP Nigel Huddleston.
The children had the opportunity to speak to him and asked some really thought-provoking questions.
The children behaved beautifully and we are so proud of them all.
Well done Year 6 – we hope the children feel inspired.
