White Ribbon Campaign #NoExcuseforAbuse
White Ribbon Day 2020 is Wednesday 25 November.
Each year thousands of people stand up, speak out and say no to violence and abuse. This year is more important than ever with a significant increase in violence, harassment and abuse during the coronavirus pandemic.
Safer Wyre Forest and partners are once again supporting the White Ribbon campaign. It runs from Wednesday 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) until Thursday 10 December (International Human Rights Day) and everyone is encouraged to wear a white ribbon during the 16 days.
The International campaign has a focus on women, but our Worcestershire-wide campaign will be engaging people regardless of gender.
We want people affected by domestic abuse to know that they are not alone and let them know where they can get help.
