Number Day
On Friday 4th February 2022, the whole school took part in Number Day to support the NSPCC. The theme of this year’s Number Day, was “Making Math’s Meaningful” and it is a great way to bring about a positive ‘can do’ attitude towards it.
Throughout the day, the children all took part in numerous fun and practical math’s activities; Key Stage 2 took part in a times table battle and both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 took part in online quizzes with the other primary schools in our Trust.
We invited all the children to take part in “Dress up for Digits!” The children came to school dressed up as anything math’s related and they all looked fab!
We raised over £100 for the NSPCC.
