Two of our Year 6 girls (Eadie & Millie) are trying to create bags filled with essential items (and some treats) for homeless people and really want your help. Their intention is to make up draw string bags, filled with small items they feel would be valued by anyone who is currently living without a roof over their head. They will take these bags to a local homeless charity for distribution. They have planned events over the next 5 weeks and hope that you will feel able to support them. They have asked me to say ‘thank you’ in anticipation.  The events are as follows:-

Friday 8^th March – Donation Station- any small items to go in these bags ie wipes, hand gel, hats, scarves, blankets, water bottle, plasters, hair brush, gloves, toothbrush and toothpaste etc.

Friday 15^th March – Red Nose Day- all money donated on this day goes to this charity.

Friday 22^nd March – Dress Down Day- wear your own clothes for a donation from your pocket money.

Friday 29^th March – Mothers’ day hamper raffle and more- look out for ParentMail advice.

Friday 5^th April – After School Cake Sale- cake donations needed this morning.

The money they raise they will use to buy additional items for these bags. We are really proud of what Millie and Eadie are trying to do.
