As part of our English work this year we are going to be reading ‘Billionaire Boy ’ by David Walliams. We have booked this trip so that the children can experience a performance of ‘Billionaire Boy’ ‘first hand’. We will be going to see ‘Billionaire Boy’ at The New Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham. This trip will take place on Wednesday 20th November. The performance is at 1.30 pm so we will need to leave school at 12pm. There will, therefore, be little time for them to have a cooked dinner on that day, so if you could provide a packed lunch that would be great. We will then eat it in the classroom before we go. We will return to school at approximately 4.15pm depending on the traffic!. Also if you would like to send your child with an appropriate small snack and a drink for the interval that would be lovely! The children will need to come in school uniform for the trip and also bring a coat, as we may have to walk a short distance, from the coach to the theatre. The cost for this trip is £19.80, which can be paid via your parent pay account.

The children are very excited about this excellent learning opportunity and we feel they will gain a lot from the trip, as it will support our English work. We feel sure the children will really enjoy the experience, hopefully it will be one they will always remember!!
