We have had a fantastic afternoon and evening. Children are split into 3 groups and have had the opportunity to do high ropes, climbing, low ropes, caving and archery!
We have had a delicious sausage and mash supper with a chocolate brownie for pudding.
Due to the weather, we had an indoor ‘campfire’ where children have played games, sung campfire songs and some children have even taken part in the famous Pioneer banana eating competition!
Children finished the day off with a hot chocolate before getting ready for bed.
We are so proud of all of the children and how independent they are being!

We have had another fun filled day at Pioneer!
The weather has been kind to us and we have managed to stay dry.
Children have taken part in; high ropes, zip wire, abseiling, low ropes, caving, climbing, archery and night line!

The weather didn’t dampen our spirits today!
First, we got up and packed up ready to go home followed by another delicious breakfast!
Then, we took part in our last activities of the week. In the calm before the storm we were able to take part in high ropes, night line and low ropes. Our final activity of the week was a group games session. We had great fun!
Well done to all of the children, they really challenged themselves and got out of their comfort zones. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

The children all settled well and had a great first afternoon at Pioneer. The first step was making beds and we were very proud of the children’s efforts!
After lunch, the children took part in their first activities. One group of children took part in high ropes whilst the other two did archery. We have some amazing archers in our groups!
Next, one group took part in fencing, another did the inflatable challenge whilst the others did the challenge course. Our fencers had a great time learning a new sport whilst our inflatable challengers had a great time competing in races and challenges against each other. The children on the challenge course took part in obstacle races.
After a sausage and mash supper, the children went for a final activity of the day. Two groups went caving and the other had an archery session.
We are so proud of all of the children and how independent they have been so far.

The children all had another amazing day at Pioneer.
We started our morning off by surprising Joseph with a whole group ‘Happy Birthday!’ We managed to sneak all of the children out of their rooms to surprise him!
After breakfast we took part in a range of activities including rock climbing, the inflatable challenge and fencing.
After lunch, we took part in even more activities with children doing abseil, zip wire, fencing, caving and the obstacle challenge.
We had a fish and chip supper before an evening of films and board games.
The children have all been incredibly independent and have showed great perseverance and resilience.

After the children had all packed up their belongings, removed the linen from their beds and had breakfast we were off to do our final activities.
Children took part in abseil, zip wire, challenge course and the inflatable challenge.
After a quick break, we took part in team games altogether. Children also had the opportunity to go to the shop and buy a souvenir with their money.
We were blown away by all of the children and we hope they enjoyed their time away just as much as we did!
