Year 4 Pedestrian Training
Year 4 completed their Pedestrian Training with Mrs Cotton from Worcestershire County Council this week.
On day 1, children had a classroom-based session learning about pedestrian safety with Mrs Cotton. We then put on our hi-vis jackets and went for a walk through the village. Working in pairs, children used their skills that they had learned in class classroom session to cross the road safely.
On day 2, children started with a reminder about stop, look and listen and how it is so important to also observe driveways when walking on the pavement. Children then completed their assessment independently with adults located at certain points to assist children where needed.
We are so proud of how sensible the children were and Mrs Cotton also commented on what a great class they were! Well done Year 4!
