Hartlebury Election

Move over Biden and Trump, the Hartlebury election is here!

On Wednesday 11th November 2020, we elected our two new councilors, to represent our wonderful school as part of the Seat Trust Youth Council. This is a council where two children from each of the Year 6 classes in every primary school in our trust, discuss issues which affects our schools and how they can make them better.

The children in Year 6 were given the opportunity to write their own speech to tell the other children in the school why they would make an excellent representative. They then had to deliver this speech to the whole of Key Stage 2 virtually, and then all the children had a chance to vote. Four children read fantastic and very professional speeches, but in the end, when all the votes were counted, our winners were…Daisy and Georgia! Well done girls!

Daisy and Georgia will be representing Hartlebury at their first Seat Council meeting tomorrow and we know they will be brilliant!
