Remembrance Service
During the Remembrance Service on Thursday 11th November 2021, we all stood in a line and faced the Churchyard. We listened to Reverend Winter’s prayers and bowed our heads for the 2 minutes silence. Some of our Governors made speeches in remembrance of all the men and women who died for our country.
Year 6 led the role call and read out the names of those who died fighting for Hartlebury and our country. We walked up the steps to the large cross where we placed our crosses. We bowed our heads together to honour those who served and remember their sacrifice. Reverend Winter led more prayers and thanked us for reading out the names of those who died. As a class we made poppy wreaths, a red one in honour of the people who had died and a purple one in honour of the animals that had died.
