On Wednesday 11th November 2020, all the children at Hartlebury observed the minute silence and paid our respects to the brave men and women who have lost their lives in world conflicts.
This looked slightly different this year for reasons we all understand, but every year we honour the men from Hartlebury Village who gave their lives in World War 1 and 2 and we didn’t want this year to be any different.
The whole school took part in a virtual remembrance service before the Year 6 class went to the local church to place a wreath at the war memorial they had made.
Although this year nobody was present, they read the men’s names aloud before placing the wreath which they had made to also include their names.
