West Mercia Statement
We have been asked by several parents about information being posted on social media regarding children in Worcester. This is the response we have had from West Mercia Police.
“Thank you for contacting us about the concerns raised with you by some parents at your school. Below is the press release that went out following concerns that social media was wrongly portraying what had actually occurred which was raising concerns amongst members of the public, un-necessarily.
The message is normal vigilance applies as always and report anything suspicious. As far as I’m aware there’s been nothing reported to us in your area and we would let you know if we had any specific concerns.” Safer Neighbourhood Team – Droitwich, Pershore & Tenbury
