Wyre Forest Educational Visit

On Friday 8th November Year 4 went on a trip to the Wyre Forest.

They spent the day learning about the Anglo Saxons and Vikings. Firstly, we learnt about wattle and daub, making our own walls. Then we learned about how the Anglo Saxons dyed clothes and used natural made dye to do this such as red cabbage.

In the afternoon we cooked Anglo-Saxon bread on an open fire and made a Viking longship out of willow and materials. A great day was had by all.
